Sacred Valley Private Glamping and Stargazing 2 Days

8:00 AM We collect you from your Cusco hotel in a private vehicle. No early wake up. No crowded bus. The 1 hour drive to Misminay winds through the Sacred Valley with views of snow capped peaks and patchwork fields.

You arrive at Maria and Mario's home — a Quechua family who has lived in Misminay for 15 generations. Their adobe compound sits at the foot of Moray with panoramic views of the Veronica glacier. Llamas graze outside your dome. Guinea pigs chirp in the kitchen. This is not a tourist show. This is their real life.

Your geodesic dome is private and heated. King bed with alpaca blankets. Private bathroom with hot shower and eco toiletries. Wood burning stove. Private terrace with two chairs and a small table. The dome's transparent panel above the bed lets you stargaze without leaving your pillow.

Mid morning Your first activity: adobe brick making. Maria teaches you the ancient recipe — mud straw water and patience. You stomp the mixture barefoot just as her ancestors did. The bricks you make will be used in real construction. Not a demo. Real work.

Lunch is served in the family kitchen. Quinoa soup with vegetables from their garden. Cuy al horno roasted guinea pig if you are adventurous or trout from the nearby river. Chicha morada purple corn drink. Everything organic everything grown within 500 meters.

Afternoon Weaving workshop with Maria's mother — a Quechua grandmother with 80 years of knowledge. She shows you how to spin alpaca wool by hand dye it with cochineal insects and weave patterns that tell family stories. You will not buy a souvenir. You will make one.

Late afternoon We walk to Moray — the Inca agricultural laboratory just 2 km away. Your private guide explains how the Inca created microclimates on these circular terraces testing crops at different temperatures. The deepest terrace is 30 meters below the rim. The temperature difference between top and bottom is 15 degrees Celsius.

Sunset Back at the dome for the Pachamama ceremony. Mario offers coca leaves quinoa and chicha to Mother Earth in the traditional way. You participate if you wish. This is not staged for tourists. The family performs this ritual before every planting season.

Dinner by candlelight in the dining tent. Alpaca stew with native potatoes. Chocolate mousse made with Peruvian cacao. Wine or Pisco Sour included.

Night The main event. Your private astronomer arrives at 9:00 PM with a Celestron telescope. The Sacred Valley has some of the darkest skies in South America. At 3,700 meters with zero light pollution you will see:
